Mexico Day #1

We made it...barely, but we made it. We got up this am at 3:15 and hurried around only to find out just as we were walking out the door that our flight had been cancelled and we had been re-booked on a new flight that left an hour later... well were were late getting in to Chicago O'Hare (shocker, I know) and we barely made the connection... sadly our luggage did not. We are told it will arrive tomorrow (cross your fingers for us)....luckily we had packed 2 days worth of clothes and neccesities in our carry on bags!! (good thinking emilee!!!)

We got to the hotel and got situated in the room - rested for a bit and then had an amazing dinner here at the hotel. We took a long walk after dinner. The ocean is so blue here and warm too.

It has been overcast and it looks like we have more of the same in order which is a bummer but it is really balmy and pleasant....
