Wow, that is a really heavy post title huh? And on the first day of this blog no less.... A few days ago my Mom emailed me a forward about a man named Randy Pausch who is dying from Pancreatic Cancer. He had given a last lecture to his students at Carnegie Mellon Univ about fulfilling your childhood dreams. It really touched me.
Last week I took care of a patient who was losing the battle and was in her last hours of life after being diagnosed also with pancreatic CA only two weeks before. I wish I had seen this before I took care of her....
Here is the full clip from him reprising the speech on Oprah and the time he spent chatting with her and Dr. Oz afterwards. It is 28 minutes long and it will not be a waste of your time - I promise.
