.... Such a busy weekend in the ER. Saturday went by very fast, but we had 2 call outs for nurses for Sunday, so I agreed to go in at 7am instead of 10am. I am so not used to getting up at anytime the clock reads 5 O'Clock anything..... Lucky for me, Mike had made a great dinner for when I got home - Lasagna, Salad, Rolls.... I passed out during the Hallmark Hall of Fame movie and with that the weekend was over.
Mike had today off but we had to get up early to head to Wendell for an appointment we had with a Mobile Marine Mechanic to look at the boat we might be purchasing. The mechanic was really impressed with what great shape the boat was in. We are waiting on an estimate for some mechanical repairs that are needed... Hopefully it will all work out! We spent the rest of the morning with and had lunch with Holly and Ted. It is so exciting to think that this could be the last time the four of us hang out before Riley arrives.
I am looking forward to Monday night TV - I love Dancing with the Stars (go Kristi Yamaguchi!!!!) and then have to hit the hay early again - due at work at the terrible time of 7am again tomorrow as I am orienting to our Triage area. At least it isn't a full day - just 8 hours....
Wednesday I am back to my regular 12hour staffing shift.
