Random Updates...

Had today off and Mike surprised me by taking a half day too =) We were able to get half the crown moulding up in the guest room, so that is great - it already looks so different with that up... I will update with photos when we get the rest of it finished. Once the crown is done, Mike will seal it and then paint the ceiling. We have some wall repairs to do too, but once that is complete we can at least move on from all the plastic and dust! I am so excited for it to all come together.

Spent some time with Holly and Riley yesterday - I can't believe how big she is getting already. Starting to coo and smile a little bit too.... I loved this photo I shot...

...and most exciting - for my birthday, Mike got me a new bag for the camera and it came today... I have been drooling over these since I first saw them over a year ago...the cover is interchangeable so you can update as you wish... it holds the flash, lenses and stuff in neoprene pockets and it is really easy to grab and switch lenses when you are out shooting.

Even the box had me anxious to tear into it:

That's all for today - back to work tomorrow and Saturday - I have my student nurse with me both days, so that makes things a bit different than the usual for me...
