I Love New York.... Day 2

We spent a quiet morning in Westchester - Ava was off to school while Chiara did some work for her business (http://www.chichibean.com/)... I spent the morning shopping in her store getting all kinds of adorable goodies for some of my favorite kiddos!
We picked up Ava and some AMAZING NY bagel sandwiches. for lunch..
and headed into the City to pick up Beth and Alyssa to complete our group for our Girls Weekend!!!!

Our first stop was Serendipity for some AMAZING treats!!!
Here are the girls, re-united again =)
Everyone enjoying the treats - we all shared everything from Frozen Hot Chocolate, Frozen Caramel Hot Chocolate, Mousse and PB/Hot Fudge Sundaes... except Ava kept her plan vanilla ice cream to herself (LOL)...
Outside Serendipity for a photo op...
I am so stinkin happy when I am surrounded by these girls...
Park Avenue Girls!!!
Walking towards Central Park in their matching Messenger Bags....
Once Alyssa met the "gold lady" she was mesmorized and spent the rest of the trip asking what we thought the "gold lady" was doing.... She was so nice to take a picture with Alyssa (for a donation of course =)...)
The girls on a art statue in Central Park...
This was an "Oh... Wow..." moment... We did a lot of climbing on the rocks in Central Park - My and Alyssa spent some QT together climbing as high as we could =)
Auntie and Alyssa - this will always be one of my favorite memories with the little girl that first stole my heart....
and rode the Carousel too...
We ended the afternoon with a Carriage Ride through the park....
I wear this photo in my locket often....
From Central Park we were all exhausted... it had been a super long day for everyone, especially Beth and Alyssa who had woken up in their beds in North Carolina that day!!! I carried Alyssa was seemed like 20 City blocks to a great Pizza House where we had an awesome dinner.
The girls nearly falling asleep in Beth's Lap...
Of course they got a second wind once we got back to Westchester and they got in their matching jammies.... I pray these girls are still such kindred spirits when they grow up and can look back on photos like this and know what "history in friendship means"....
