Of course, Sarah and I being just that - Sarah and I... we couldn't settle for anything less than a perfect invitation - What we made was a tri-fold 5x5...
Here are the images of it as we designed it on the computer... The way it folded, the cross was the front, which opened to her name and then with both flaps opened you could see the two photos and the details:

The Browns have been given an amazing gift by Adam's Aunt who makes handmade baptismal gowns. This gown will be an heirloom for their family now for many many generations. The slip was made of a semi sheer linen with handmade lace at the bottom. The slip was embroidered with Harper's name and date of birth in pink and there was pink ribbon laced through the slip, the bonnet and the sleeves of the gown. When they have more children, the ribbon can changed to any other color and then the slip can be embroidered with the child's name in the color they use, whether it is blue, purple, yellow, green.... what ever they want! The details on the gown were amazing... little crosses with sheer fabric, the lace on the hat... The photos will not ever do it justice!!

As if we didn't love Harper already as if she was family - now she formally is! We are so excited to know that throughout her life, we will be there to help guide her and shape her in her faith.
You'll be pleased to see that I am actually in some pictures! My Dad who knows his way around a camera in the dark, blindfolded took over the photography duties so we could still capture the day!
