5th Anniversary

We celebrated our 5th Anniversary on 10/08/09 - We had an ABSOLUTELY gorgeous day... it reminded us of the beautiful weather we had on our wedding day in VT. I guess we've come to expect weather like that in October in NC, but that day in VT it was a welcomed surprise for sure - Who really expects Sunny and High 70's in VT in October?!?!?!

Sometimes it feels like we have been married an eternity yet I can still remember just how I felt waiting to enter the church with my Dad and hearing Canon in D start... I was so excited and am still so excited to be married to the man of my dreams!

We've both really enjoyed kayaking and realized we haven't been doing enough of it, so we splurged and bought me a new boat to go along with Michael's! We spent the afternoon out on the water together. It felt like we were the only two people out on the Lake at Beaver Dam.... It was perfect!

We had thought about going to Banff, Alberta but figured with just 4-5 days off it wasn't enough time to really get our monies worth out of a trip that big... I am so glad it worked out the way it did, because I ended up coming down with a nasty respiratory virus over the weekend - BOO!!! We'll save that trip for when we have more time...but it will be coming for sure =)
