Saturday morning I got up early and headed downtown for the Jingle Bell 5K. It was only 27 degrees out so that made for a brisk morning!! The 5K was fun (I guess)...and then headed home to relax and get ready for the 2nd annual Christmas Cookie Swap and Tacky Sweater Party.
I had a great time with some of my favorite ladies at Beth Anne's house. I am certainly blessed to have found my way into this group of wonderful ladies from all over the state of NC (and a few from out of state too)...

We got some great cookies to enjoy - Mike is in love with Anne's Lemon Sugar Cookies and I am failing miserably at avoiding Beth Anne's Cake Chews...

I had such a nice time with you this weekend ~ I'm glad we were finally able to catch up and have some "girl" time...which of course included food & wine (and a little running ;-)!
