It has been a long almost 2 weeks with sickness in this house. First I got sick with Strep and was on an antibiotic - then Mike got sick just as I was starting to feel better and he got put on an antibiotic....and then I got sick again and am now on a new antibiotic.... U-G-H-H!!!!
This is a busy week for us too - we have Meredith and Chad's engagement party on Saturday so I will be helping her out getting everything set up, preparing food, shopping and all else that goes along with planning a party.
I was off today and got a lot of little chores done around the house after meeting Sarah, Lauren and Meredith for lunch. I work the next two days and then am off until next Tuesday =)
A little bit of news on the renovation front too - we decided that before we move all the furniture back in to the guest room, we are going to move our master bedroom furniture in there so Mike can strip the popcorn off that ceiling, add crown moulding and then paint the ceiling. We will then move the furniture back in there and then finally add all the finishing touches to the room.
After all of that is complete, Mike says he is going to scrap, crown and paint the hallway and then we are going to do a total reno of our master bath which will pretty much finish the whole house now. I still want to re-do the pantry but Mike doesn't think we will....(we'll see =) ).... so lots more pictures to come. I just hope the guest room is back to being a guest room by the holidays so I can use my Holiday bedding that I drooled over and got a smokin deal on from Pottery Barn last winter!!!!

Lots of fun home improvements! I think after you are all complete you should start over and make a whole post of the "After" pics, so we can see your house all at once!! :)
