My New Haircut

Well for those of you who know me, you know since we have moved to NC, getting my hair cut is almost as painful as having someone pull each hair out of my head, one at a time.

My friend Jamie had done my hair in VT since I was 14 years old and she knew exactely what my hair would do, what it wouldn't, what would look good and what would not, and also - our styles just matched perfectly. Heck, Jamie is the one who first dyed my hair blue and gave me my electric blue "pleather" pants that I love.

I was so lucky to have her do my hair for the wedding and then give me a fab cut in the few days after, but I haven't been back "home" since and my hair has certainly suffered!!

I have tried a few people and they just didn't have what I was looking for. Well I took another chance on the recommendation of a friend this past Saturday (yes, the same day as the big party - Brave I know!!!) and am overall pretty happy with how it turned out!!!

I got a MAJOR cut - about 7-8 inches at least! I think she put a few too many highlights in but other than that, she did a great job on the cut and I am definitely going to go back to her. Plus she was really edgy and loved my blue streaks so that is always a plus!!

I will forever remain loyal to Jamie and plan to make a trip up to VT soon and will certainly be making a stop in her Salon...but it does feel good to have someone here that I can go to.
