Just a Sunday....

Work was pretty rough the last two days - we were sooo busy and had very very sick patients - not a great combo. It felt like we were back in the winter with the hospital overflowing with patients, stressed out doctors, upset patients.... I was just thrilled to get to Sunday - my DAY OFF!!!! I have to work just 4 hours tomorrow - wish I hadn't signed up for that now, but oh well.

Anyway - we didn't do much today - Slept late. Mike worked on the guest room and got all the walls sanded. Progress is slow but steady. I ordered some new bedding which came and I love it....

I am thinking of adding these drapes, just not sure yet - I have a sample swatch on the way, so we'll see...

We did also get the light fixture - I wanted a chandelier for the room - but nothing big. I found the PERFECT one. It is the oil rubbed bronze finish that we have in the guest bath and it is just the right size!!!!

We had a great dinner tonight - my Dad gave me the idea a few weeks ago - We stuffed some chicken breast with BOURSIN cheese and then baked it with a bread crumb crust. It was to die for!

We added some crescent rolls, rice, corn and salads and although it wasn't very colorful it was just a great meal!!

I guess that is all for now. Sorry for the boring post. More pics to come of the guest room - right now it just doesn't look like any progress is being made, but it really is.
