Alison's 28th Birthday (July 5, 2008)

We spent the day yesterday with Alison and Greg celebrating Alison's 28th birthday. Alison and I met early in the day for Manicures and Pedciures - we had a blast. We both decided to go outside of our box and get a color we wouldn't usually pick -




Mike and I then ran some errands and made some homemade Salsa for the party and headed over to Casa James for the BBQ


The basket of goodies we put together for Alison with her favorite things...





Then we all cracked out some seasonal deliciousness and the fresh Salsa that I had made:




We enjoyed some good times on the patio with friends just laughing and telling some funny stories







and even playing some LADDER GOLF





a short while later the skies began to look rather ominous,


so we headed in for some classic GUYS against GIRLS games while it down poured:




The laughing continued for hours (especially duing Guesstures and Catch Phrase) with all of the these silly actions...











I think this must have been when the ladies took the lead (it didn't last long sadly)



Thankfully the skies cleared and we ate an awesome dinner with Grilled Hotdogs and Sliders, Potato Salad, Slaw, Pesto Salad and more:


then we headed out to light some fireworks and sparklers...











and to end the night went back in for some more games and cake and ice cream for the birthday girl!!
